Murmuring against God BIBLE READING: Exodus 16:8 “And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD hears your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? Your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.” The Israelites had just come through the Red Sea, and they were dancing with joy and praising the Lord. But just three days later they were murmuring and complaining! Moses said to them, "Your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD." One of the greatest lessons we can ever learn is, when we murmur and complain about the church or the Pastors, we be very careful not to really be murmuring against God. Murmuring is no little sin. God lists it with idolatry and fornication. See 1 Corinthians 10:10 “Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.” They were being led of the Lord. Moses was there. The Word of God was there. Why did they murmur? It was a lack of faith, but it was also a lack of reason. Would God have brought them through the Red Sea just to let them die? So using that same reasoning If Jesus died for on that cross for all the world, do we really think He has saved you and I to abandon us? I think not, Amen! God Bless
