When he was asked about the song he said: “Nothing to fear is a song about a European guy welcoming Muslims, said Rea, and the gist of the story is if you show us we have nothing to fear, you know, theres gonna be no problem. And its asking them to show a sign of peace. Its one of those songs that can get me in trouble sometimes, in the wrong context because I like to do double meanings and things like that, I was always a great poetry fan. And, then the song also applies to a man and a woman, or any relationship, in its beginning, and its basically saying, you know, youve got to show each other that theres nothing to fear.” Thought provoking lyrics and good music.
