Music is the only thing Im comfortable with, or know how to do. Sure, I can clean, make a sandwich and move shit, but I have no real skills or anything I could apply to a descent, well paying job. All the time Ive spent perfecting my craft (drumming, and its no where near perfect). All the years of studying and practicing and doing what I needed to do to become a sick drummer, feels kinda wasted to me. I love drums (music in general) with every fiber thats in me, but I cant help feeling like all that energy, I exerted in music was a total waste of time. Would my life be better if I had been that interested in school? Or something else that wouldve furthered my career/life? Im not trying to be whiney or rant like a chick, Im just at a weird stage in my life. Pray for me if thats your thing, if not, just send some positive vibes my way.
