UPDATE on Sue Bennett (Monday - 8:30 am) Sue was exhausted from yesterday and was so tired that the nurses had a hard time waking her up for her assessments through the night. Because of this, the nurse ordered another CT scan at 1 am. The good news is that nothing has changed on the CT; all appears to be healing. What the neurosurgeon is saying is that Sue is having a number of mini seizures that essentially reset her brain and also make her tired. This does not mean Sue is not healing. With rest, some anti-seizure meds, and a whole lot of patience, her brain should heal and she should come out of it. The neurosurgeon is not concerned and is telling us to give her time to heal up. The proverbial...hurry up and wait. Continue to pray for Sues healing; for Loyd as he balances being at work and being at the hospital; and for Lana and Laura as they fill in the spaces when Loyd cannot be there. Soli Deo Gloria! Sue WILL NOT BE TAKING VISITORS today.
