This year we are hoping to field 2 x Senior men’s football teams based at Boyd Park. On preliminary observation these teams may be Waikato B and Waikato C grade teams. We intend to train as a full squad under Head Coach Peter Hurd and will have a CLUB based focus rather than team based. Several of our existing Squad live and work out of town and attend minimal trainings but take personal responsibility for their fitness, any new member in a similar situation is welcome to talk to Peter about similar arrangements. Fees this year will be somewhere between $120 and $ 180 with a student rate of $ 40. As our rates are significantly lower than a lot of other clubs, members are expected to do their share when it comes to Working Bee’s and Fund Raising. Training Night will be Wednesdays at 6.00pm. These will be skills and tactics based. Fitness will be the responsibility of individual players. COBRA’S Football is in a stage of growth with a core group of passionate administrators driving the club forward.
