Mwda Ipo like you said something needs to change. So today I decided to do some basics. 48F 9c, 54% humidity, wind speed w 18 g 26mph, 29.88 Barometer, 32f Dewpoint, 41f windchill, Visibility 10 mi I laid a scent pad. Then I laid a straight leg, I randomized the treats through out the track. Then I laid 110 yard track. Then I got her out. We did the scent pad. I pulled her away and did leg 1. I got back closer to her. She did keep lifting her head but I think the breeze waa bringing the second track scent towards her and she needed to work thru that. After leg one I put her on the choke and walked back to the car. She was not allowed to pretend track. Then before the second track I dead ringed the choke and put the line thru 1 leg. I stayed close again and let her track the legs. I encouraged her thru the tracks and praised. I let her work thru the lack of confidence. I am much happier today. At one point there was poop in the track (last teack) which has been a previous issue. I put bait on the stepa before and after and while she skipped the closest foot she worked past it and continued to track instead of running away. She was calmer and more steady.
