My 2012 K1600gt with 9,000 miles has been in the shop since July 24 for an engine noise. The cause has still not been determined. On top of the engine noise, the motorcycle pulls L, has a noisy transmission, eats a little oil, the front brake master cyl leaks (replacement on order for a MONTH), and a side case had a defective latch mechanism (replaced under warranty). Has anyone here had success with BMWNA buying back or replacing a defective motorcycle? Ive heard about them authorizing engine replacements etc-but frankly, I dont want to deal with it anymore, or wait around for months and months. Do I have a chance here?
