My 8 year old had a bad fall off of her scooter today and landed on her elbow. Its scraped up pretty bad and swollen, we put lavender on the cuts but her elbow is so tender she cant straighten her arm all the way and she has been babying it. Climbing into bed was horribly painful because she accidentally put weight on her arm:( I put deep blue on her elbow and it helped a little but she was still uncomfortable so I put 2 drops of frankincense in her mouth and within 15 minutes the pain had subsided enough to go to sleep! She has a doctors appointment tomorrow to check for a fracture but Im so glad shes able to get some rest, we have no OTC pain relievers in the house so I was worried her elbow would be sore all night!
