My Aunt Rachel worked for Rileys 30 plus years. She is sitting on my sons (Christian Roberts) lap. I had Christian in 1994 when I worked on 3 South as a unit secretary. Christian was 5 weeks old and had the 1st pyloric stenosis surgery ever performed at Riley hospital by Dr. Daddy Billups. I will never forget the moment I handed my tiny baby boy to Ms Cookie (from surgery). He had been crying for hours and the second Cookie took him he immediately became calm. She told me it was because he felt my tension/stress. LOL! Aunt Rachel was always there to lend a hug and a prayer when I needed it most. Miss her greatly.
