My Food for thought for the day… Currently Superannuation - TopicsExpress

My Food for thought for the day… Currently Superannuation contributions from rural and regional Australia are $12.5 gross billion per annum… With an estimated economic loss of $64 billion per annum to Rural and Regional Australia… This is from the Australian Bureau of Statistics – Wage and Salary Earner Statistics for Small Areas & Standard economic multiplier effect of 5:1. So how about; A New Rural National Superannuation Fund for the benefit of Rural and Regional Australia and we claim back this great loss of $64 Billion per annum from Rural Australia going to the capitol cities! I am talking about a rural superannuation fund specifically designed for rural regional Australians to benefit local rural and regional people and local economies as a result in our National interest this will revitalising rural areas to expand and develop; 1. A contributor to food security: by keeping farmers on the land and encouraging young farmers to engage in future rural development; 2. Able to address the development the long-suffering financial needs of rural and regional Australia. The initial target could be to capture a percentage of this market that could equate to a minimum of $2.5 billion increasing by $500,000 per annum or at best $8 billion with the appropriate financial resources increasing by $1.2 billion per annum. A believe a fund like this would help return balance to the Australian Superannuation industry by ensuring that the superannuation each one of us contributes will be re-invested in that part of the country where they are currently living and working. This would also provide approximately 20,400 new jobs in rural an regional Australia… TD
