My Grandad Elone. I was the last of the Tutavaha children to leave Niue in 1968.I lived with my grandad Elone to whom I was adopted to.My given name is Elonetama Siosi Tutavaha.My parents sent for me.As a 12 year old boy I said good bye to my grandad Feb 1968 on a cargo boat Tofua heading to NZ.As I said goodbye he looked down at me and said not to cry everything will be ok.A month later we had telegram from Niue that my grandad passed away.It was a very sad day for me as a little boy I cried my eyes out.When at age of 34 my partner and I, we had a baby boy,we named him Elone.
