My Message To The President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria. There can be no victory in illegality, what ever happens in the house of goats will also happen in the house of chickens, meaning they are all going to end up being killed for their meat. So it is not a time for either of them to start rejoicing first because maybe the goat saw the chicken being killed first, the goat should be wise enough to know that after the chickens death comes its own death. The present rate at which illegality thrives in Nigeria is alarming, an Inspector General of Police cant tear gas a Senate President who is our number three citizen and the Speaker of the House of Representatives who is our number four citizen. This is wrong and my heart bleeds for this country. He has no right what so ever preventing them from entering the National House of Assembly. The Nigeria Police Force under any guise has no reason what so ever to invade our Legislative building, this time around the police has gone way too far and it is an affront and a deliberate ploy to sabotage our democracy, we struggled so hard for this with many paying with their lives. To the man at the helms of affairs, I urge you to be wise when taking certain decisions so as not to truncate our democracy. I want to yo use this means to sound a warning, if this lawlessness and indiscriminate use of executive power continue, one day the military will over run the seat of power and prevent Mr. President from accessing his office thereby forcing him to resign. I am talking about a military coup. This shameful act shouldnt repeat itself again. The constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria clearly states separation of powers, the constitution ought to be our guide and guard and not our thoughts. To the Inspector General of Police, you are not the judiciary, only the judiciary can interpret laws while yours is to enforce it. Please just mind your business, just in case you dont know, your business is to protect the lives and properties of every single Nigerian within the country, being an appendage of the ruling president is disheartening and an abuse of office and trust being conferred on you by the citizens. Yours is to combat crime and not to go against perceived political opponents of Mr. President. LONG LIVE OUR JUDICIARY, LONG LIVE OUR LEGISLATURE, LONG LIVE OUR EXECUTIVE AND LONG LIVE THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA.
