My Mom died today. She lived 87+ years. In the end she simply closed her eyes and left the earth. She was a remarkable woman. A sister to 9 siblings, Mother to 5, Grandmother to 12, Great Grandmother to 15. She was also a preschool teacher (small business owner) to 100s of children, PTA president, library guild president, artist, potter, gardener, the best speller I ever knew and learned from (LOOK it up! If I just tell you, youll never know it!) a voracious reader, mad sudoku and crossword puzzler, seamstress, knitter and thankfully a journal er. Im so blessed that she was My Mom. The last thing I said to her yesterday on the phone was Bye Mom. I love you.
