My Nanay passed away 9:45pm Tuesday at the RPAH, Camperdown NSW, ending an incredible adventure of 91 years with a fantastic legacy of a family who loves one another across the distance -- seven children, 14 grandchildren & eight great grandchildren & one coming in September -- on whom the sun never sets. It has been my greatest privilege to have been her carer for over eight years as I had been my Tatays for the last year of his life. It has been so touching seeing how the family has been sharing their photographs, memories, thoughts, sentiments & gratitude. Love can cross all boundaries of space, time & level of existence. With a family like ours, who needs an empire? ;)
