My Post of yesterday about Washington meetings has drawn negative - TopicsExpress

My Post of yesterday about Washington meetings has drawn negative comments from Pakistani Government supporters who are beneficiaries of the current system and prefer the status quo over the changes that the masses are seeking in the country. Imran Khan has given voice to the millions of young men and women who have been marginalized by the two main parties, PPP and PMLN (see the attached photos of recent Islamabad Protest). Both parties are controlled by two of the most corrupt families in all of Asia and the rank and file party members have no say in the affairs of their parties. Imran has been exposing their corruption for several years and he has tried to bring change through the electoral process but he has been thwarted by the crooked regimes set up at the Center as well as in the two large provinces of Punjab and Sindh (see Maxim and Khalids illustrations). Since they have control over public funds at the Center as well as in Punjab and Sindh, PPP and PMLN have been spending millions of Rupees per day for several years on positive projection of their families and attacking Imran Khan in the media. They would have been held accountable in any truly democratic country to cease and desist from wasting poor taxpayers money on personal family propaganda and character assassination of others. But todays Pakistan is a country run by thieves for the benefit of other thieves and white collar criminals. Sharif family has been particularly active in bribing heads of every major institution of the country and they have neutralized all opposition by simply purchasing it with hard cash. Imrans campaign against the illegitimate government that came about after a rigged election has been peaceful and disciplined. Yet he is being criticized for not taking the cash offered to him and drop the opposition campaign as others have done. I know personally that he has been offered the job of Prime Minister more than once by different Presidents. I spent good part of my youth organizing peaceful demonstrations against the governments of the day. I can tell you from my experience of half a century that no leader has ever been able to motivate and inspire men and women of Pakistan as Imran has done. He is not perfect, nobody is. He may not prevail over the forces of evil and corruption right away but ultimate victory will be with his supporters as the future belongs to them, regardless of the games and conspiracies his opponents inside and outside the country create.
