My RANT ABOUT THE IDIOTS WE HAVE ON HERE AND ALL OVER.... Funny how the media have said United have panic buyed this season paying over the odds for players like Di Maria, Falcao, Shaw and Herrera and even Rojo... But this is the same Media that used to say Man United need to spend money to be on same level as Man shitty and Chelshit. Fergie put in a good plan to bring youth into the side but now with no CL we cant have the youth doing much just look at how the 1st team are imagine the youth. Matt Busby would say if your Good enough, your Old enough simple fact is with a few exceptions Utd have never produced another class of 92, the team that won 2013 EPL was the weakest team of the lot, Scholsey coming out of retirement spoke volumes, Fact is Utd have not had a great team for the last 4 seasons, they should have bought Bale, never splashed the cash from the Ronaldo sale and have simply made do and mend the game has moved on since the reign of S.A.F. simply put, you pay the best to get the best. Now for the jokers saying how will they all play together... People are missing the point. The beauty of it is you dont necessarily have to crow bar all of these players into the first team. So rvp and Mata have to sit on the bench from time to time. Thats called having strength in depth. Its down to van Gaal to keep them happy, but its a great problem to have. Central defence and Midfield still need addressing but Rome wasnt built in a day was it? So, if United focus on kids and try to elevate young players through the ranks they are accused of not spending big like Chelsea and City. When they spend big they are wasting their money and disregarding the youngsters? That about sums it up? Well the 90 million net spend was at least achieved with their own money. Unlike Chelsea and City and anyone saying that Falcao, Blind, Rojo, Herrera Di Maria and Shaw wont strengthen the team and the club are only doing so to fill column inches. They are ALL great players, great signings and United, when everyone is fit, will be a real force. Panic buying would be like buying welbeck at the last minute not bringing in these present and future world class players United have signed two defenders, two central midfield players a winger/offensive midfield player and a world class striker. That looks like a pretty balanced acquisition to me. None of those new players have yet to play a single full game and only two have had any playing time at all. Of course the start isnt what we wanted but nor can the team be judged on those results when there are six new signings to come in, not to mention an equal number of injured players to come back soon. Are we in a much better state than we were in April , absolutely yes. Top four is a must this season and United will get it. It will be interesting to see at whose expense. Most likely either Arsenal who for some reason refuse to spend, or Liverpool who spent over 100m on players most top teams wouldnt even glance at. Its going to be a fun season and I for one am really looking forward to it. Oh and apparently people chatting shit saying Youth is no longer the priority...in his few months in charge LVG has given 6 academy players their 1st team debuts. Its about getting the mix right, you cant field a team full of academy players and expect to stay at the top, as proven against MK Dons. Lets face it weve addressed problems that go back to when Fergie was about, Di Maria is World Class, Falcao too. Blind can play Defence or Midfield and proven at World Cup. We didnt replace Giggs with Zaha like Fergie did. We under invested for years and now the Glazers are finally putting their hands in their pockets and every supporter of other clubs are clearly jealous as all they talk about is United. Falcao makes sense as RVP is going for Surgery, Chica and Welbeck gone so hardly a panic buy, Di Maria over Young and Valencia all day long and Rojo and Blind are the defensive cover we need. Strootman or Vidal in January once Juve and Roma have been knocked out of CL will do me nice! All im gonna say is Nani and Javier Hernández out, Di María and Falcao in, now that is an upgrade from premium economy to first class. Deal with it haters...
