My Story. I got caught pregnant not long after me and my fella got together. Im type 1 Diabetic and it was never properly controlled but as soon as I knew I had a baby to protect, I knuckled down and took control! The pregnancy was a breeze, no sickness or anything! I was still living with my Dad at the time, I got a flat allocated to me but had nothin to go in it and wanted to decorate it first. Me and my Dad had been fall in out more frequently and I went to my sister one day to babysit for her while my fella did some painting in the flat, when my fella rang me and told me my Dad had brought my bed up cos he didnt want me there anymore, stressed was an understatement! I had to borrow money for appliances off my sisters fella! I was annoyed but had to get on with it really. About a month after I moved in, my fella was gettin ready to go home cos he had to be up for work early the next day, I had a stomach ache, didnt think anything of it really until it got stronger and more painful. Knew it wasnt contractions as it was a constant pain. I rang for an ambulance and had a full canister of gas and air en route to the hospital! They scanned me as soon as I got there, then told me they couldnt find a heartbeat, I was utterly heartbroken! My fella arrived within minutes and we just held each other and sobbed. It was another 2 days before my princess arrived at 32+5 weeks, we called her Molly. She weighed 4lb11oz and was absolutely perfect, 10 fingers and 10 toes, jet black hair, I was overwhelmed with love and heartache. We cut some of her hair to keep and had prints of her hands and feet, I even brought home the hospital towel that they wrapped her in, it still smells of her. 28th Sept 2004 is a date I will never forget as a part of me died with her, I will never ever forget you Molly, you are my bright star watching over me. Mummy loves you to the moon and back
