My Sunday Soliloquy... I woke up completely exhausted. Coaching is a stressful job for me. To have total control during Training Camp then having absolutely none once your fighter steps into the Ring is giving me grey hairs. Its probably similar to sending your 14 year old daughter to a party full of hormonal crazed teenaged boys, hoping shes taken head to all of the lessons about the danger shes facing. All the while, having to watch the party without being able to do anything about it. That being said... There is nothing more rewarding in my life than doing just that. While I want my Fighters to win every time, its really not about wins and loses to me. Its about witnessing the evolution of a first timer into a seasoned professional. About performing at your best when the pressure is on. About getting knocked down and getting back up. About exceeding your potential and surpassing your limitations. Its about the hard work put in on a daily basis to be able to do so. So yeah, Im exhausted... But Im also grateful and wouldnt want it any other way! #whatsyourlimit?!
