My Tribute to Mother Audrey Scroggins....(Let me be me) I know that we have no right to put a person in heaven or hell. But if I had to guess, speculate or even as much as ponder if I thought someone was most assuredly in heaven it is this woman. I know God smiled a little more when he looked down upon this darkened earth and saw this angel of a woman known to some as Mother Scroggins and to most as Granny K. I know that heaven rejoiced when she marched into her rightful place among the angels. Not for just the way she carried herself both inside the church walls and outside the church walls. Not for just the way she spared not the chastening of those from the pulpit to the back row when you were wrong. I feel like preaching yall! Not for just the way she would sing that song, theres a Light Guiding Me. Not for just the way she always managed to get out of tickets when she was driving 20 miles over the speed limit. Yall dont hear me! I know that this saintly woman of God walks the streets paved with gold and is flying in the clouds in the sky, sitting amongst other saints that have gone on before and singing praises to the most high because God gave her a gift and this gift is known as ALABAMA TEA! Can I get an Amen!!! I love you Mother Scroggins! Be at rest...
