My X-1 Logan/Wolverine Cosplay is fast approaching completion. Do not attempt to adjust your screens. This is only a test. *** SPOILERS*** Today marks a long wait, finally over. 9 PICS My first, full, natural-hairline fitting of my custom built, fully ventilated, pre-cut/pre-styled Berserker wig-in-progress from Hero Hair(c)-Cosplay wigs for the serious adventurer (herohair) Image #1- The receded hairline- Today, the existing, fully lace-fronted hairline (ending at my own & seen here in the first image) will be built beyond, to then match the actors (Hughs) hair-line in the original 2000 films opening Canadian Bar / Cage Match and wilderness scenes, and complete this full human hair wig-build. Once the hair-line is built, finalized & fronted, and the final, full-scalp hair ventilation is complete, the stylist will be over to match the film-cut before Erin and co. then fully scene-style and set this incredible piece. Image 2 through 6- The full Jackman- The screen-matched final hair-line is built & fronted, and being finalized, (it slides back and forth here a bit as the lace is not glued to the cap, so forgive that while these amazing artists behind me work) replacing my receded widows peak with a lush, fully formed Jackman-esque brow. The final, full-scalp hair ventilation is now complete, save for a couple of sections around the back. The stylist, ( and renowned Hair Supervisor here in NYC) Kelly Reed, has arrived and is working with Erin ( Hair Supervisor for Tony Award nominated Casa Valentina on Broadway ,as well as special live fight FX Make-Up co-creator and supervisor on Rocky Broadway) on addressing what will be done for the next step- cutting, finalizing follicle-placement at the micro-level across the entire front/body, and any additional needs to the piece. Ive also included my annual physical transformation progress meme(s) (yes, Ive been doing that for a year and a half) as Im almost at my goal physique for this stage of Hugh Jacked-ness: 2 more years to reach full goal (The Wolverine physique), but I got myself exactly where I wanted to be from pretty much complete atrophy to this point. Its all part of this adventure and its all lead up to this, so Im including them eyer on the forum to sort of encapsulate what this endeavor has entailed to get to the Comic Con floor. So, with that, and after a back braking 1 1/2 years, I am now within the realm of Hughs original size and frame from the first film, and, thankfully, ready for Comic Con on October 11th with two weeks to shred a bit before debut...this, in case anyone finds this interesting, from a 2 and a half pack a day smoker (quit now a year and a half) and 40 pounds overweight, borderline diabetes and a host of other ailments, to this new guy in the results pictures for comparison. For those of you who dont know me that well yet on the RPF page, Its been a long, arduous journey since deciding, at age 42 (now 43 1/2), to completely turn my life around. I now run between 4 and 8 miles a day and train 5-6 days a week and eat a healthy training diet ...as well as follow many routines which include, yes, aspects of the Wolverine/Hugh Jackman workout.. Hugh (Jackman) has been my inspiration to turn my life around physically, along with a little RDJ thrown in for good measure for the psychological benchmark. Hence my ongoing moniker of combining the two (Wolverine and Tony Stark) into my psyche and for my online presence where this road is concerned. At a time when I needed a role model, and a light at the end of a very dark tunnel, there were really only my heroes who, in the end, spoke to me. Its just a coincidence Wolverines been my idol since childhood;) And that I happened to run into RDJ late one night at a doughnut shop in my youth...where I witnessed an exchange that would start his presence on my radar forever more.
