My auntie Youko (dads side) waves at me as I board my night bus in the country. 10 hours later Im welcoming myself back to the big metropolis jungles of Tokyo! Niihama to Hamamatsu-- 11,000 yen. Memories made --Priceless. I was, in a sad but timely way, able to attend my uncles funeral (moms Kazue Hashimoto eldest brother). RIP uncle Yukio. There was a deep deep meaning to the timing of my trip, 14 days with the family in the country. Thanks Shinjiro Sato! Youre the best for letting me go for so long!!! The night bus really wasnt that bad except for the one guy sitting just in front of me whos feet were rrrrrank! (That means very very stinky for those of you who are not familiar with the expression) whew! Thank goodness for masks and Amways mint spray! I almost wrote him a note to wash his socks before he gets on another night bus. But I figured he has his own situation and is probably fine without my solicited advice.
