My beautiful amazing sweet soulmate of almost 11 years coming up in a couple of weeks surprised me today w picking me up with my doggies and taking us to the beach for a picnic- on the way we stopped to get food at pipes so I could find my Mr Gregg and I was finally able to give him a haircut, trim his beard, trim his hair. He was so cute while I was cutting his hair he said he hadnt let anyone cut it since his wife passed... He said every month she would trim it for him. I almost had to bear down hard on my heart not to cry... He lifted his chin up while I trimmed under his beard, and then lifted his head as I asked if I could trim his eye brows. He closed his eyes and cleared his throat and said yes... He said the hair keeps the rain out. I said as I trimmed that he keeps his big blue eyes hidden from us and we need to see those beautiful big eyes. Tears rolled down his face and neither of us spoke. I then trimmed the back of his head as he bent foreword. And then I blew on his face to remove the lose hairs and he started to giggle like a little boy. It was really such a special moment--- almost one of my favorite ones...When I was done he pulled on both sides where his whiskers were long and he said, Kita I feel handsome..... I said Mr Gregg you are handsome. He then took my hand and said Kita, when it rained last week my books got wet that you bought me and I am sorry. I said mr Gregg what and how could I help... He said maybe you could get me a poncho or a big trash bag.... I almost died inside.... When I got into the car w Josh I just started crying... All he asked for was a trash bag...talk about humbling...so If you see a homeless person in the rain please bring them an umbrella...or a Rain coat...he also needs batteries double A I had to buy him a new radio the old one broke in the rain. He listens to it non stop he says it is like having a friend.... Anyway enough of my Sunday night rambling just please take the time this week to love on mankind....what good are we if we keep our faith in a church?... Get out in the world and immerse your hands touch those and hug those who society says are cast aways... You may learn more in moments with them then you ever will in a proper establishment...
