My book is a science fiction fantasy based on my sighting of a huge hairy creature, a story about tragedy, nature taking a giant leap forward to save a species and how a family adapts to change. Dalfard Parham is from Ware Shoals, South Carolina. There were six in his family, mother and father, two sisters and two brothers. Wanting to understand the universe, he pursued a major in physics when all along he should have been a writer. During his childhood years, he and his younger brother loved fishing and exploring The Saluda River. The rivers vastness ran its way from the Great Smoky Mountains southward. The strange stories he heard of the river made it a perfect setting to develop his story.
