My brother has been shipped to CMC Union Hospital in Monroe, NC. Scotland Memorial felt there was nothing else they could do for him there. As we visited with him today, he opened his eyes a couple of times, and tears began to roll out of his eyes. My sister, Alice, sang to him....she sang Jesus Loves You, instead of Jesus Loves Me!!! He grasped onto her hand as if he did not want her to leave. He knows that we are there....he hears us speaking, talking to him, singing to him, and praying with him....however, he is still too weak to be weaned off of life support!! I know that God is going to let His will be done for my brother. God said He would put no more on us, than we can bare!! Sometimes, I feel like I just cannot go on....this heartache and pain of seeing him in this condition is literally draining me mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. However, I know I must hold on to Gods unchanging hand. He is the author and the finisher of our lives, and His will will be done. Please pray for strength, comfort, and peace for all of us as we continue to run this race!! Even though I know Gods will must be done, and will be done....it still doesnt make it any easier!!!
