My brothers and I have been very lucky we only had one address growing up; 14451 Highgrove Ct. Today another family moves into our family home. I dont have to like it but I need to accept it. Im sad today. My parents were so proud the day we moved into OUR HOUSE! They had looked and looked. I remember the day we moved in. My dad had my mom by the hand, I had Darrell by the hand. They turned to us and daddy said this is our home, as long as we are all together and we are here u will never have to be afraid of anything or anyone (shit now that I think about it Darrell and I mustve been sissy lalas!) He looked at my mom, hugged her, teresa, this is OUR home he promised my mom that he would do everything in his power to make it our only home. He managed to keep that promise. Brought 3 more boys into that home, raised us. We have laughed, cried, fought, loved, lived and died in that house. I have brought all three of my babies home from the hospital to that house. My first grandbaby has had her diapers changed in that house! Many lost souls have laid their heads on pillows there, many. Every room holds an actual lifetime of memories for me. I witnessed mom and dad become man and wife in our living room. Was diagnosed witb cancer in that house. Fought it with daddy in that house. Whew had some parties there........ some known some not! Threw an absolute bike party 10th bday for savanna there! To the family that will live within those walls, she will provide shelter from the cold, relief from the heat, a place to be after a hard day. I pray your family makes happy memories there. I hope your family loves and laughs there. And that any heartaches are few and far between. Please love her and be kind to her. That has been been TRIANO CENTRAL FOR 43 YEARS. And if u see a lonely, slightly crazy 48 year old redhead on a bike out front looking at the house, shes not a stalker, I promise. Just a little girl, actually, that had the best and worst years of her life there.
