My career took a turn yesterday... A few days ago The Commander decided that he wanted a pet, so he got one of his cups, created a habitat (his words, not mine), and placed a Roly Poly he dug up and named Junior on my kitchen counter to be his pet in residence. Well, yesterday, after two days of the good life, Junior was found lifeless. We decided it was best to bury Junior, and there were quite a few tears. Between you and I, I thoroughly enjoyed having to comfort, hug, and kiss away the pain, between a few smothered giggles. However, at the service for Junior, I was asked to sing a song.... Im his mommy, and Im smitten with him.... So, there I was, sitting in our yard, singing over Junior, the Roly Poly! Yes, friends...my career took a turn yesterday...for the better and memorable!!! Love that kid! #MommyDays
