My close friend got a call from this number: 202.241.8322. If this number calls you dont answer and block it OR pick up and tell them you know it is a scam. Long story short he said he was from the IRS and that there was a case of US Government vs. XXXX. Claiming that she is guilty of tax fraud, withholding information and something else. In my eyes you are a criminal and I will speak to you as such. If you hang up that means you are not cooperating and the consequences will be grave. The police department has been informed and the sheriff will be at your house to cuff and detain you for up to 72 hours tonight. Maam stop crying, when you cry you are not letting me do my job and that means you are not cooperating. Thank God for her awesome, smart and amazing husband who called her on another phone and told her it was a scam. She yelled at the guy and hung up on him. Then she googled the number and found that this guy had done this to other people before. Stay safe everyone and never give out any personal information to ANY caller! The IRS does not phone you, they send a letter by snail mail as the law requires!!
