My company has been working for Amtrak for a couple of years now, and I would have loved to have taken some photos of the Big Board while I was there. Did they let me, a Pennsylvania Rail Road devotee, take a snap or two of the control center that supervises all the trains in and out of New York City (and, by the way, for miles and miles on either side)? No... we must maintain security! But they let a mere reporter take those pictures, and then allow said snaps to be run on the front page of the Star Ledger... But Im not bitter...
