My dad wasnt a mega-celebrity, but he was a brilliant businessman, a star athlete, a devoted church and civic leader and a beloved family man who had humor, curiosity, compassion, humility, faith ... and depression. He untangled himself from its claws several times, but ultimately he gave in, at the age of 75, most likely in a split second of excruciating pain. Fourteen years later, his death remains the shock and heartbreak of my life. My heart aches for Robin Williams family.
