My daughter bought matching friendship bracelets for her and her bestie in Portugal. When she came back she gave the matching one to her friend and they loved their bracelet bond. But then Isla dropped her bracelet into the toilet. She fished it out and cleaned it with soap and then unbeknownst to me wrapped it in tissues and put it on the coffee table. I came along and thought eeoou and put the lump of damp tissue into the bin. Five minutes later Stephen emptied the bin into the wheelie bin. And then Isla says, Where is my bracelet? Here I am dressed up to the nines trying to leave the house to go out to dinner, the babsitter arrives and I am elbow-deep in the feckin wheelie bin and Isla is crying her head off with her face pressed up against the window like a sad puppy watching my progress. the babysitter is like WTF. And I just couldnt find it and I couldnt go on due to little bugs and the stink and the pure grossness of it. I had to leave with Isla crying her head off saying that her bond with the bestie was dead ITS DEAD MUMMY! And then I had to call her several times while out to make sure she was happy with my offer of taking her to buy two more tomorrow and assuring her that they would be just as good.
