My daughter probably doesnt want me to share this but its important that you know this is real! Yesterday my 56, 125 lb, college student, was pulled over by police, on her way to school. Her driver side window isnt working so she open the car door. The police officer drew is weapon and pointed it at her! He said afterwards that he stopped her for non-working brake light and issue no citation but thought he should apologize. As if that was good enough. I tell you all this is not the response police are trained to but this is what we face. I recommend we all follow the directions people of color have always given our male children when confronted by law enforcement! And oh, by the way, her brake lights were checked and work just fine.
