My day has been very interesting!! HOSPICE?????????? Was to have a routine CT scan that involves drinking the Berry Smoothie, not eating after midnight last night.....etc, etc....I get to the Russellville Hospital at 7:30AM for my 7:45AM appointment. They have no record of my appointment even though I had picked up my Smoothies Saturday evening along with instructions and all. Fast forward; my 7:45 turned to 8:45, CT a success and I go home. I settle in at home and receive a disturbing phone call. Is your tracheotomy ok, or will we need to schedule HOSPICE to come to your home and assist you? She ask how i was after leaveing I.C.U!! Shocked, I said no, Im fine, and let it go. I called back and talked to RH Admin about the conversation, they explained they thought I was Marbolene Gasaway. REALLY? If they were looking for a similar named person, how did they manage to call my number? Horse Hockey!!! LOL! Totally freaked me out. Lord i pray i never have to go back there ever again.
