My day started at 5:30am so I could get fire going again on smoker. Lots to learn. Ribs the other night looked great, meat was perfect but meat was fuel tasting. I chalked it up to a rookie mistake of putting on meat early and using Match Light briquets. So today was another experiment with two tri-tips. Meat looked awesome, texture was perfect but was way too smokey. I also did a tray of marinated mushrooms and hour before and they were way to heavy smoke. Another lesson. But, I did take in this awesome picture at 6am. What a great way to start a Sunday morning outside. Forgot to take pics of results. Had a nice day with Jen just staying in and watching football and cleaning.
