My dear dear FRIENDS : I am the father of 2 remarkable sons, albeit, it does strike my mind - What if I had a daughter, what would I want her to be like ? To my good fortune I came across this video and I had my answer staring me in the face - An Evening with Arundhati Roy, April 2014 youtube/watch?v=RzpfeVRUOfQ In fact, I would like any young woman to take cognizance of this special and fine LADY! Oh, how I wish I had a daughter like her ! In fact, I asked myself What were her qualities that mesmerized me : 1 - She is amazingly sensitive and genuinely concerned for the plight of most of humanity - suffering and exploited humanity. 2- Her capacity for intellectual articulation borders on being poetic. 3 - She has courage that most men can only dream of. 4 - She is modest, beautiful in her body, mind and soul, charming and above all very humble - given who she is. If ever an angel appeared to me and asked me what kind of daughter I would desire , I would certainly point to this BRILLIANT, BRAVE and GRACIOUS lady .
