My dear pal Steve Bell recently released the Pilgrimage box set which celebrates his last 25 Years of Music Making. One of the discs is titled Good Company, a selection of SB songs by friends/fellow artists. Im happy to say the idea originated with me. And it was then made real and brought to satisfying completion by my producer/partner-in-musical crime Roy Salmond. Birth of a Song was recorded and first appeared on my own Joy Deep as Sorrow. For its inclusion in Steves box set, Roy went back and did some great remixing and added, among other things, some very tasty electric guitar.
