My dearest son, I was going to send this in a private message but chose to do this publicly so your friends and family can affirm what Im about to say. I admit to being a bit emotional this morning but that doesnt cloud or diminish the sentiment. On my way back home yesterday I had so many flashes of you growing up; good and bad times...mostly good! Your mother and I, along with those of us who know you well/closely (especially your Grandma) have always known with unflinching resolve that you were destined for greatness; Ive always told you that! The man you will become is forged down this hard path you have bravely chosen. In your loneliest, darkest hours, remember, with great clarity who you are and where you are going. You will be cut off from the outside so you must draw your strength from within and never forget that we are out here praying for you, believing in you, rooting for you and knowing that you will prevail. Just because you cant read our words or hear our voices for a time, does not change that. No matter how hard it gets remember, this too shall pass and you will emerge stronger after! I love you more than I could ever say and believe in you with all my heart!
