My dog (actually my baby) Drake is so handsome and super smart. He also has epilepsy like me. Not much of a warning sign for him, just usually about a minute of strange behavior. He is 14 and started having them when he was about 5 years old, so we have been doing things for him and watching him for years. He hasnt had a seizure in over a year. The last full blown seizure he had was on the same day I had my last one, last December. It seems like when he knows he is going to have one, he tries to get to us. Tonight my son, Brandon, took him outside and then when he came in he was trying to go around the dining room table and started falling. Going into a seizure, we have learned lots of things to do, so we all break into action and we were able to get him out of it before it was a full on seizure. Thanks to God for that! Its so tough to watch because we love him so much! Now I am being shadowed by my kids in case I have one too. Love my puppy...
