My entire feed is filled with Rip Frankie Knuckles posts. Its hard to explain the massive influence this man had on house music for so many years, his body of work is truly incredible, and the list is just too long to pick titles. I knew him mainly as a producer, but so many of my friends were inspired by him as a dj, I never had the chance to hear him play, though I played his records for well over 20 years. This is for those of you outside the house music community that might be wondering who he was. Take a listen. This is a dj set, but the real genius lies in his productions.
