My family and I have lost our angel this evening. Gram, Gramma, - TopicsExpress

My family and I have lost our angel this evening. Gram, Gramma, Gigi whatever name she was known by has joined her beloved husband and parents and her brother in Heaven. My Gram lived life to the fullest for all of my 46 years of life. My earliest memories of going to Holo Krome Christmas Parties, to plugging a whole in my basement wall to keep the long gray and black slamanders at bay. That was a funny one. My gram was there for us all for everything that we did. She went to ballgames, dance recitals, soccer games, tennis matches, and anything and everything in between. My Gramma was 93 when she passed today. She was an enormous part of all our lives and with be deeply missed. I can honestly say she was there for some of my most important milestones in life. She took my brother and I and all my cosins to more places than i have time to mention... Ill mention a couple of my favorites, She took me to my first What today would be rated R movie but at the time was rated PG and I think she knew that me and my cousins had pulled one over on her but she still let us see it and she did so with a smile. The other one that sticks out in my mind is My Gramma taught me how to drive. My dearly departed father did a little but had little patience with me and my mom took me driving two or three times... But my gramma would take me and most of the time make me drive wherever she was going. Wether it was to the store , or to one of the many athletic or artistic endeavors that my cousins were involved in, she had the paitence of a saint and with her help and guidance I went and took my test passed and began my career as a driver. To say that she was everything to all of us would be an understatement. She was a mom, a grandmother, a gramma, a GiGi and a friend to everyone that was fortunate enough to know her. She went out of her way to see the best in anyone and anything that was present in her life. She made me feel like I always had a guardian angel on my shoulder. I cant imagine ever having a better role model of how to life your life than my grandmother. Well now she is on her journey to the next life and she will guide and nurture her Great Grandchildren as they grow and experience life. I will miss our talks, our drives, our phone calls...But, most of all Ill miss that smile and that infectious little chuckle you had whenver you saw your family. God Speed Gramma. You will now begin the next chapter of your life. We will never, ever forget you and we know youll always be there. Love Your Grandson, Matthew oxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxx
