My favorite First Lady so far, and I remember Mamie Eisenhower. It pisses me off when people give this wonderful woman a bad time. Since when do Americans hate on our First Ladies? SINCE WHEN? Hillary was a target due to her working on healthcare reform, she was more in the mold of Eleanor Roosevelt... But Michelle cant even talk about helping our kids eat a healthy diet. I suppose Lady Bird Johnson should not have advocated for wild flowers, Betty Ford should not have talked about addiction, Laura Bush should not have talked about literacy? And Nancy Reagan should not have JUST SAID NO? How is it that Republican First Ladies get respect, but not Democrats? I remember when Republican voters were mostly civilized.
