My favorite performance by Diane Lane even though she did not sing this song in the movie. There is a bit of a conflict over who actually sang the song for the movie. One source says that it was Holly Sherwood, one says it was Laurie Sargent and another source says that the producer combined the tracks that both singers laid down for the movie which I think is the true story behind the vocal. Result was spectacular! Diane Lane has said that she thought this was one of her most glamorous roles and I agree. No, wait. I think it was her best role..been a fan since then. BTW, Streets of Fire turned 30 this year and should have done better at the box office
