My first job ever was a summer internship in 1985 at The White House. I worked as an Executive Assistant with the Presidents Council of Economic Advisors. A long, ornate hallway of macro and micro economists, where the GNP and GDP numbers were computed/released to the Press. Worked in the corner office of The Chairman, Beryl Sprinkel, PhD. I also did some work for Donald Regan, Secretary of the Treasury. They had daily meetings with President Ronald Reagan at 8:00am. Here are some of the momentos I received when the summer came to an end and I went back to school. Honored to have been chosen from thousands of applicants. Nice opportunity for a 17 year old girl from rural PA!
