My flesh and my heart fail; BUT GOD is the strength of my heart and my portion forever!! Psalms 73:26 This verse speaks for itself. On our own, we are only as strong as WE can be, but with Jesus controlling our daily steps, we have HIS strength to lean on. But not only His strength, His peace, His joy, His confidence, His rest, His hope. That should get us fired up today!! We can be bigger, do more, and endure so much more with Christ empowering us, than we can ever think about doing on our own. When we get out bed in the morning, we should at that very moment give our day to the Lord , asking Him to help us in any situation or circumstance we may encounter. We can trust and rely on Him no matter what the day throws at us. He is our portion today and everyday! Amen! Lord, help us to really, really, get this in our Spirit. You are everything that we need, when trouble comes, quicken our Spirit to turn to you first knowing that all will fall into place.
