My four standout memories of Max Birbraer as a Devil will always - TopicsExpress

My four standout memories of Max Birbraer as a Devil will always be: 1) His inexhaustible passion and patience for his fans. Every autograph, photo, chat and high-five. A real ambassador. 2) That hit on Joey Talbot. The greatest hit thrown in the BBT bar none and a game changer at the time. 3) The 2010-11 Playoff Final, which turned into the Max Birbraer v Jeff Swez show. One of the most amazing displays of skill and desire I have ever seen in the UK. Deserved the win. 4) The Birbraer / Jon Pelle / Scott Matzka line. Wihtout doubt one of the top three lines in our near 30 year history. Unplayable. Good luck Max, this does not diminish your time at the Club or the Clubs views of you I am sure. Its a brutal and sometimes impossible business to manage. You will always be loved here, and soon to be loved in Telford. All the best mate.
