My friend El Habib Louai will be coming to the UK from Morocco at the end of January to do some performance poetry in English, Arabic and Berber, a mixture of his own original pieces and other works, including translations of the Beats. He will be accompanied by Jazz Berber and Sufi rhythms by his collaborators Hassan Bndouz (on Djembi) and Lahoucine Moutaouakil (on bass), plus local musicians will be invited to take part.
