My friend is looking for his biological father from Vienna, Austria. We believe the name was Leopold Gratz. The surname may not be exact and may be spelled differently.. Leopold was part of the Austrian/German army at that time but his duties were more on the supply chain than being a part of the combat troops. He was stationed in Vienna in 1943 when he had an encounter with my fiends biological mother Paula Kurzbock who was born In Bad Ischl, Austria in 1921. My friend was born in 1944. My friend has an Ahenpass to trace his mothers family tree. He would like very much to know about his biological fathers heritage. My friend believes that he has a half brother, who was born perhaps a few years before him, who was a child of Leopold and his wife. My friend lives just outside Vienna. Any help to find his father would be greatly appreciated.
