My friend, student, and fellow self employed artist posted this article about supporting local businesses this Holiday season. And boy could we use it ! We have been slammed now with a terrible economy for 5 years straight, and we have so much to offer ! Instead of purchasing so much from overseas factories, take a look around. This article has many interesting ideas, and for me personally, I offer Dance Lessons and CHoreography, yes, but not everyone is in the market for that, or has times and places that jive with mine. I also launched a tiny product line of Dance Pins (available now) and Christmas Ornaments of dancers (soon to come out) and I encourage all my dance loving friends to take a look. These products were produced in the USA (upstate New York) and the idea sprang from my very American mind. I have spent hours collaborating with American artists about the length of dresses, and miniscule T-straps on tiny shoes, and I am proud of this very first endeavor. I only had a small budget so I could only produce a limited quanitity of 3 designs, and I need about 70% of the inventory to find a home for the Christmas Holiday for it to be even worth it for me. So please take a look, and if you even have a friend who enjoys Dancing with the Stars, perhaps this is a great gift idea. I will have them with me wherever I go until I sell them out !
