My heart has been heavy all afternoon since learning of the untimely passing of a dear friend and respected jurist, the Honorable Randy D. Doub, Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District. From 2000-2004 I had the pleasure of renting space for my law firm in the offices of Dixon, Doub, Connor and Foster where I made lasting friendships. Randy Doub was first and foremost a Christian, a devoted husband and father, a loyal friend to many, a dedicated and diligent attorney and a wise Judge. I read a comment earlier today in which someone said they had never heard anything negative about Randy. I certainly concur. He was truly a good person in all aspects setting an example of how to live a Christian life. Please keep his wife and sons and other family as well as friends in your prayers. I have no doubt Judge Doub is in Heaven right now, but he has left a void amongst family, friends and colleagues.
