My heart is heavy.......my spirits are lifted for having this musical genius in my life. I thank God for the afternoon I spent with you last week.....thank you for squeezing my hand so hard we laughed.....thank you for the music and life lessons you instilled in me.....thank you for teaching me how to be a band leader......thank you for showcasing me throughout the U.S.....thank you for the opportunity to perform with your friends Clark Terry, Jon Faddis, Louie Bellson, Arturo Sandoval cant/wont be able to name them all.....because of you, I met Brad Leali and Roy Hargrove before I moved to Dallas.
