My husband and I talk about this alot, I believe that calling it global warming as opposed to climate change is what is giving such room for argument...people dont understand that as the poles melt and iceburgs are falling into the ocean, at a TERRIFYING RATE, that it is causing temperatures to, essentially move down and around, thus creating colder temperatures in warmer climates...what people are failing to understand is that this rise in sea level, from the melting ice, is going to completely destroy and submerge our worlds most beautiful and large cities...NYC, Venice, Bejing, etc.... If we have an over population issue already, and are going to drown out our most populated cities, what happens next??? It is the scariest issue facing us today...especially as a parent..what are we leaving behind for our children??? If we do not ban together as a Nation, or furthermore, the world, we are going to kill mother earth off because we are a greedy species.
